The Oak flooring is finished in Oxidative Oils, this finish has been popular in the northern hemisphere for many years and the New Zealand market is starting to choose this as a preferred flooring option.

Much of the Oil finish Oak has been used in high end housing and has been traditionally supplied as a solid floor option

Through the latest manufacturing advances we have been able to produce an engineered flooring version that offers not only the feature of solid flooring but far surpasses solids when structural integrity is concerned

The advantage of using Oil is the durability, Natural Oil floors do not require resanding, the natural timber is rejuvenated using the penetrating oil that hardens deep inside the wood.

The timber can breathe and although the natural way requires a little more attention to ongoing than laquer finishes, the advantages are that the lifetime of the wood is radically extended

Realising that also there are customers that simply prefer the traditional Laquer finish, we have produced the Millennium series

This series features NZ grown and milled RED BEECH, prefinished in natural and dark stain finishes

The laquer contains Ceramic and in UV cured giving long lasting surface
